Eden Folwell paints in acrylics with bright slashes of color, covering the canvas with bold, hypnotic strokes.  Her paintings are featured in private and corporate collections across the globe and in several celebrity homes and offices.  Her expressive artworks are featured in a line of designer greeting cards.

Raised in Great Britain, the Middle East, and the U.S., the influence of her nomadic childhood can be seen in the wide range of materials she employs.  From canvas and paint to plywood and wax, she is constantly experimenting and pushing the boundaries of her creativity.  Eden feels a deep spiritual connection to her artisan ancestors.  The powerful simplicity and richness of her work echoes the Mexican and Huichol Indian cultures of her heritage.  Her palette is a feast of Mexican colors.  She applies paint direct and unmixed from the tube to retain an intensity of pigment on prominent areas of her compositions, often leaving the white areas of the canvas untouched.

Eden is currently hard at work creating custom pop art portraits, saturated with intense color.  A new venture which has become wildly successful.  She lives and paints in Houston with her cat, her family and the great state of Texas as a constant source of inspiration.  Her paintings demonstrate her desire to, "simplify form and amplify color, so that the color has an emotional resonance of its own".
