Face Painting: Mallard

Every time I am invited to do face painting for a party there is always one kid with a very special request that I have to make up on the fly.  This time it was literally on the "fly".  This little girl wanted a "mallard". Not a "duck", but very specifically a "mallard".

"He has a green head, she's obsessed", her mother chimed in.

Ok. Mallard.  We looked up a photo of a mallard (thanks iphone) and this is what I came up with. Pretty quacky if I do say so myself!
